Return & Exchange Policy

Effective from: 14th August 2024

1. Timeframe
  • Return and exchange requests must be raised within 10 days of receiving the order.

2. Condition of Products
  • Items must be in original packaging with tags intact.

  • Used or washed items will not be accepted.

  • Items without original tags are not eligible for return or exchange.

3. Exceptions

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Gift cards

  • Customized products

  • Pre-draped sarees

  • Gift boxes

  • Detergent and fabric conditioner

  • Clearance sale items

  • Gift wrap

Note: Products purchased during sales are non-refundable, but may be exchanged or credited via store credit.

4. Purchase Location
  • In-store purchases can be returned for store credit only.

  • Online purchases must be returned or exchanged via online process only.

5. Credit Note
  • Valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.

  • Cannot be encashed once issued.

6. Self-Shipping
  • If pickup service is not available, customers must self-ship the item.

  • A maximum of ₹150 will be reimbursed as a credit note for return shipping.


Exchange Policy

1. Timeframe
  • Exchange requests must be raised within 10 days of receiving the order.

2. Limitations
  • Once exchanged, no second exchange is allowed.

  • If a return is requested after an exchange, only a credit note will be issued.

3. Payment
  • Price difference must be paid at the time of exchange.

  • Cash on Delivery is not available for exchanged orders.

4. Delivery
  • Replacement items will be delivered to the same address as the original order.

5. Product Exchange Rules
  • Exchange for same/different size is free of cost.

  • Exchange for higher value items requires paying the difference.

  • Lower value exchanges will result in a credit note for the difference.

  • Exchange is valid for one item only (not multiple products).


Refund Policy

1. Process
  • Refunds are processed after pickup and passing quality check.

2. Timeframe
  • Refunds will be initiated within 2–3 working days after quality approval.

3. Exceptions
  • Products bought during sales are non-refundable (but can be exchanged).

4. Damaged/Defective Items
  • Concerns must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the order.

  • Refund will be issued only after verification by the Bindi Ethnic team.

  • In special cases, a credit note or replacement may be provided.
